Use TiCu in Claude and ChatGPT

What you can do when an AI assistant is connected to TiCu, what it can see, and how to set it up.

Updated October 4, 2026

Connect your TiCu account to an AI assistant and you can manage your wardrobe just by chatting. The assistant works with your real closet and your own fit profile, so you can ask what to wear, check a size before you buy, or try an outfit on without opening the app.

What you can ask

  • "Show me my black tops." Browse and search your closet. Your item photos appear right in the chat.
  • "Add this jacket to my closet", followed by a link. Add clothes from a product page or an image link.
  • "Does my navy blazer fit me?" or "Would a Uniqlo M fit me?" Check the fit of clothes you own or are thinking of buying. TiCu compares the size chart with your body profile and shows the result on a body diagram, area by area.
  • "Does this coat suit me?" Get a short style tip based on your style profile.
  • "What goes with my beige chinos?" Find pieces in your closet that work together.
  • "Try on my white shirt with the navy chinos." Start a virtual try-on. The picture appears in the chat after about a minute, and it's saved to your outfits.

Pictures, such as your closet photos, try-ons and the fit diagram, appear in the chat in apps that can show them: claude.ai, Claude Desktop, the Claude mobile apps and ChatGPT. Elsewhere, for example in Claude Code, the assistant gives you a link to see them on ticu.app instead.

Before you start

  • A TiCu account that has finished setup. Get the TiCu app or sign up at ticu.app, and complete setup. It includes your body profile and agreeing to AI processing.
  • A face photo, for try-ons. Add one in the app or on the Photos page.
  • Gens, for try-ons. Each try-on uses one gen, just like in the app. Browsing, editing your closet and checking fit don't use gens.

What the assistant can see

When you ask, TiCu shares with the assistant:

  • your closet item details: category, colour, brand, size and TiCu's description;
  • your outfits, with TiCu's styling feedback;
  • your plan and gen balance;
  • TiCu's conclusions when you ask about fit or style, such as "size M fits, a little tight at the chest".

The assistant's AI never receives your photos, your try-on pictures, your body measurements or the details of your style profile, such as body shape or skin tone. When you ask to see a picture, TiCu shows it to you directly inside the assistant's app. Signing in also lets the assistant see your basic account profile: your name and email address. Read more in our Privacy Policy.

Good to know

  • TiCu asks the assistant to check with you before it starts a try-on, because that uses a gen, and before it deletes anything.
  • Everything you do from a chat is saved to your TiCu account, so new items and try-ons show up in the app too.
  • To disconnect, remove TiCu in your assistant's connector settings. The assistant can then no longer reach your TiCu account, and nothing in your account is deleted.
